I thought I would set up a more personal, non-purposeful blog. I have another blog at http://kd5sth.blogspot.com that mainly has some lessons I wrote for our church’s Wednesday night youth class.
Writing this blog on a new laptop my wonderful wife Judy got me for my birthday. Right now I am booted up in Ubuntu Linux 9.10 (Karmic Koala). The laptop came with Windows 7, which seems to be promising. My son Connor thinks it looks a lot cooler than Ubuntu. I like Ubuntu because it is not prone to viruses and other types of malware that are written to exploit weaknesses in Windows. And it’s free. Ubuntu is not perfect, but it has a lot going for it.
Although Facebook seems to be dominating the social networking scene, I am going to explore blogging since it seems to be more optimized for longer thought processes.
